| Perhaps the most prestigous Golf Club is the Singapore Island Country Club. Many prominent business men and Statesmen are members and it's exclusivity is the reason why this is one of the most sought after golf clubs. It is the second oldest club in Singapore and has 4 x 18 hole golf courses at two separate locations. Many major International Championships have been held here. The courses are matured and very maintained. The busy CEOs and business men who are unable to play during the day, you can find them here way before sunrise at 6:30 am to put in a 9 hole game with their cronies and then have a leisurely breakfast before arriving at their office around 9:30 am. The first two holes are lighted just for theses early birds. |
