| Karimun Beach Resort Golf Club? Where? This is the first beach resort golf club on the island of Karimun, 35 kilometres South West of Singapore. The capital of Karimun is Tanjung Balai and is a reminiscence of Singapore 30 years ago but with the trappings of modern convenience if you are staying at this resort. The pace of time slows down considerably and it's an ideal get away from it all for the busy executives and their families. The ground breaking project for this resort commenced at the end of 1996 and schedule to complete around the year 2002. The joint venture owner / developers are Grassroots Investment Holdings Pte. Ltd. and PT Pantai Impian Karimun. The fisrt phase which includes its clubhouse, golf driving range, villas and lakeside bungalows, first nine holes of the 18-hole golf course and part of the outdoor facilities will be completing sometime this year on this 128 hectacres of undulating terrain.
